Räcknitz / Zschertnitz with Strehlen-Südwest is a statistical district in the Dresden district of Plauen . It is south of the city center.

location

The statistical district Räcknitz / Zschertnitz is surrounded in the north by Südvorstadt-Ost and -West , in the east by Strehlen and Leubnitz-Neuostra , in the south by Kleinpestitz / Mockritz and in the west by Plauen .

The boundaries of the district are formed by Zellescher Weg , Caspar-David-Friedrich-Straße, Südhöhe, Sadisdorfer Weg, Passauer, Nöthnitzer and Mommsenstraße. Räcknitz / Zschertnitz is located on the southern edge of the Elbe valley on the northern slope of the Südhöhe.

The most important streets in the district are Bergstrasse ( B 170 ), Zellesche Weg, which is part of the southern inner city bypass, and Südhöhe. In Zschertnitz there is a final stop of tram line 11, Räcknitz is affected by line 3. In addition, four city buses and other regional bus routes run through the district, which has a total of 7 tram and 17 bus stops.
