It is roughly bounded (clockwise) as follows: Stauffenbergallee - Hechtstraße - Görlitz – Dresden (Dammweg) railway line - Lößnitzstraße - Hansastraße - Eisenbahnstraße - Uferstraße - Elbe - Alexander-Puschkin-Platz - Erfurter Straße - Grossenhainer Platz - Hansastraße - Hammerweg.

The statistical district borders in the southwest on the Elbe and Friedrichstadt , in the northwest on Pieschen-Süd with Leipziger Vorstadt-West (Neudorf) and on Pieschen-Nord / Trachenberge with Leipziger Vorstadt-Nordwest, the tip borders in the north on Hellerberge , in the northeast the statistical district borders on Albertstadt , in the east on the Äußere Neustadt , in the south on the Innere Neustadt .
