Pieschen-Nord / Trachenberge with Leipziger Vorstadt-Nordwest is a statistical district in the Dresden district of Pieschen . It is located northwest of the city center on the Neustadt side of the Elbe .

The statistical district includes the northern part of the Pieschen district , almost the entire Trachenberge district , the north-western part of the Leipzig suburb , which is within the Neustadt district , and small parts of the Hellerberge district . The district is divided into the following seven statistical districts :

  • 254 Pieschen-Nord (Trachenberger Str.)

location

The statistical district Pieschen-Nord / Trachenberge is surrounded in the north by Hellerberge , in the west by Trachau and Mickten , in the southwest by Pieschen-Süd and in the south and east by the Leipzig suburb .

The boundaries of the district are the Leipzig-Dresden railway that Petrikirch-, Hansa and Bright Hofstraße, the A 4 at the level of the junction Wilder Mann formed and the line Bolivar- / Weixdorfer road. Most of it is located in the Elbe Valley , but a very small part is already on the Heller Plateau, where Pieschen-Nord / Trachenberge also has a small share of the Junge Heide .

The most important roads in the district are the B 170 and Großenhainer Straße , an entry and exit road towards Moritzburg . It is used by tram line 3. The tram line 13, on the other hand, runs over Fritz-Reuter-Straße. In addition, five city bus routes and other regional bus routes run through Pieschen-Nord / Trachenberge. There are a total of 8 tram and 25 bus stops in the district. The Pieschen S-Bahn stop is located on the southern edge of the district and is connected to the S1 line.

The Dresden transport company is based in the Trachenberge depot on Trachenberger Straße in Pieschen-Nord .
