Kleinpestitz / Mockritz with Kaitz and Gostritz is a statistical district in the Dresden district of Plauen . It is located in the south of Dresden in and on the Kaitzbachtal and on the Südhöhe .
location
The statistical district is surrounded in the north by Räcknitz / Zschertnitz , in the west by Coschütz / Gittersee , in the north-west by Plauen and in the east by Leubnitz-Neuostra . To the south lies the municipality of Bannewitz in the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district .
The statistical district is on its northern border about 2.5 kilometers from the main train station.

The statistical district includes Kleinpestitz , Mockritz , Kaitz and Gostritz , all of which were incorporated into Dresden in 1921. The district is divided into the following six statistical districts :
- 841 Kleinpestitz (Muldaer Str.)
- 842 Kleinpestitz (Eppendorfer Weg)
- 843 Kleinpestitz (Dorfhainer Str.)
- 844 Kaitz
- 845 Altmockritz / Altpestitz
- 846 Gostritz
traffic
The federal highway 170 runs through the district, which has the junction Dresden-Südvorstadt to the federal highway 17 directly on the outskirts of Bannewitz . The four-lane B 170 (Innsbrucker Straße) crosses the Kaitzbach valley, just like the motorway, and goes around the historic village center of Kaitz. At the northern border of the district it has a level-free crossing to the Kohlenstraße / Südhöhe. From there it falls further into the Elbe Valley as a mountain road.
The district is only accessible by bus routes. The streets Altmockritz , Altpestitz , Altkaitz and Altgostritz mark the historic village centers, all of which are off the main streets.
