Tolkewitz / Seidnitz-Nord is a statistical district in the Dresden district of Blasewitz . It is located southeast of the city center on the old town side of the Elbe.
location
The statistical district Tolkewitz / Seidnitz-Nord is surrounded by Loschwitz / Wachwitz in the northeast, Laubegast in the southeast, Seidnitz / Dobritz in the southwest, Striesen-Ost in the west and Blasewitz in the northwest.
The boundaries of the district are formed by Schmiedeberger Straße, the western border of the Johannisfriedhof , the Elbe , the Niedersedlitzer Flutgraben and sections of Hepke and Altenberger Straße. Tolkewitz / Seidnitz-Nord is therefore completely in the Elbe valley .

The statistical district includes the Tolkewitz district with the exception of the Alttolkewitz village center, which is part of the Laubegast statistical district, and the northern part of the Seidnitz district . It is divided into the following nine statistical districts :

The most important streets in the district are the inward and outward streets Wehlener Strasse and Tolkewitzer Strasse , which run towards the southeast and converge at an acute angle, as well as the Altenberger Strasse / Enderstrasse in north-south direction. In Tolkewitz / Seidnitz-Nord there are several tram and city bus routes of the Dresden public transport company . The district has a total of six tram and 14 bus stops and is therefore very well integrated into the local public transport network.
