The Radeberger Vorstadt is located on the northern side of the Elbe in the east of the Neustadt district of Dresden . It is named after the northeastern town of Radeberg and, along with the Inner and Outer New Town and the Leipzig suburb, is one of the four Dresden suburbs on the right bank of the Elbe .
Behind the Prießnitz , which flows into the Elbe on the western edge of the district, Bautzner Strasse ( Bundesstrasse 6 ) runs through the Prussian Quarter with old and new city villas. The Waldschlößchenbrücke connects the quarter of the same name with Johannstadt on the southern side of the Elbe. The Saloppe waterworks, Dresden's first waterworks, is located on the eastern edge of the Radeberger Vorstadt . The neighboring pub Saloppe is the oldest beer garden in Dresden and became known as a venue for after-work parties in the post-reunification period . The first of the three " Albrechtsschlösser " on the Dresden Elbe slopes is the Albrechtsberg Castle .
With the Bautzner Strasse Dresden Memorial and the Kraszewski Museum, there are two Dresden museums in the Radeberger Vorstadt.
