Krieschendorf is a place in the northeast of Dresden . Administratively, Krieschendorf belongs to the locality Schönfeld-Weißig and is a district there that is included in the statistical district of Schönfeld / Schullwitz .

Krieschendorf was first mentioned in a document in 1378. The origin of the village probably goes back to a settlement of Franconian farmers in the 12th century under the Meissen margrave Konrad the Great . The place name goes back to the Old Sorbian personal name "Krivoš". On July 1, 1950, Krieschendorf was combined with the neighboring Malschendorf to form a rural community. She joined the community of Schönfeld-Weißig on March 1, 1994. On January 1, 1999, Krieschendorf was assigned to the city of Dresden as part of the rural community of Schönfeld-Weißig.

Malschendorf and Krieschendorf together have about 300 inhabitants.
