Naußlitz with Wölfnitz, Dölzschen, Roßthal and Niedergorbitz is a statistical district in the Dresden district of Cotta . It is located southwest of the city center on the left or old town side of the Elbe.

The statistical district includes Dölzschen , Roßthal , almost all parts of the Naußlitz and Wölfnitz districts and the southern part of the Gorbitz district , which is known as Niedergorbitz. It is divided into the following six statistical districts :

The statistical district of Naußlitz is surrounded in the north by Gorbitz-Süd and -Ost , in the east by Löbtau-Nord and -Süd , in the south by Coschütz / Gittersee , in the southwest by the city of Freital and in the far west by Gompitz / Altfranken .

The boundaries of the district are formed by Kesselsdorfer Straße and then roughly Rabenauer and Dölzschener Straße, in the southeast by the course of the Weißeritz and in the southwest by the city limits to Freital. Naußlitz is therefore in the transition area of ​​the Elbe valley to the easternmost foothills of the Meißner highlands .

The most important streets in the district are Tharandter Strasse, an entry and exit road in Plauenschen Grund in the direction of Freital, as well as Kesselsdorfer ( B173 ) and Saalhausener Strasse. Tram lines 6 and 7 run in Naußlitz. In addition, three city buses and other regional bus routes run through the district, which has a total of 2 tram and 31 bus stops.
