The Weidenbach is a tributary of the March , which drains the southern Weinviertel. It rises near Atzelsdorf , flows through Gaweinstal , Kollnbrunn and Bad Pirawarth to Groß-Schweinbarth , then through Raggendorf , Schönkirchen-Reyersdorf and Gänserndorf . After Weikendorf , the Weidenbach passes Stripfing and finally flows into the March at Zwerndorf .

Due to previous floods, the Weidenbach is heavily regulated and there is no accompanying riparian forest. In 2013 and 2014, the state of Lower Austria renatured the Weidenbach.
