Weiher is a district of the town of Hersbruck in Middle Franconia .
geography
The village is located one and a half kilometers south-southwest of the center of Hersbruck and about half a kilometer south of federal highway 14 .
history
The origins of Weiher go back to a farm that was first mentioned in 1267.
As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the place became part of the independent rural community of Ellenbach with the second municipal edict , to which the hamlet Leutenbach also belonged. In the course of the municipal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s , Weiher was incorporated into the city of Hersbruck together with the municipality of Ellenbach in 1972. In 2017 Weiher had 303 inhabitants.

Attractions
