Weikerstetten is a small settlement on the outskirts of the main town of Königheim in the municipality of Königheim in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg .

Biking and hiking trails

Weikerstetten is on a cycle path from Königheim to Schweinberg , which branches off from the Brehmbachtal cycle path in Königheim . The ninth circular hiking trail in the Lieblichen Taubertal (LT9) called Via the Hohe Bild to the Guardian Angel Chapel leads from Königheim via Weikerstetten and Gissigheim.

Weikerstetten solar park

In January 2020, plans for the photovoltaic open space system “Solarpark Weikerstetten” were published. The solar park is to be planned by Energiebauern GmbH from Bavaria. The “Solar Park Weikerstetten” is to be built on a 10.4 hectare area in the blue sky next to an elevated tank. Its annual output is estimated at around nine megawatts peak (MWp).
