The World Youth Day 1993 was held in Denver in the United States take place from August 10 to 15 1993rd 600,000 people took part. Hymns were Here I am, Lord and Unto the house of the Lord. The motto was “I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance” ( Jn 10,10  EU ). After a visit to Mexico, Pope John Paul II was also present .

The vigil and closing mass were held at Cherry Creek State Park near Aurora, 15 miles from Denver.
