Render's house and workshop was at 7 Böhmengasse, today's 8th května street. Render was buried in the St. Mauritz Church.

Wenzel Render shaped the image of his hometown Olomouc through his work. The Trinity Column on the upper ring in particular is an extraordinary building that is one of the most outstanding achievements of the Central European Baroque. In thanks for the extinction of the plague in the city, Render designed the unusually large and tall Trinity Column, on which he had been working since 1716. After his death in 1733 it was further built so that it could be completed in 1754.
