Werbiwka ( Ukrainian Вербівка ; Russian Вербовка Werbowka ) is a village in the center of the Ukrainian Oblast Kharkiv with about 3500 inhabitants (2014).
The village, which was built on the site of military camps in the 1830s, is the only village in the 49.872 km² district council of the same name in Balaklija district .
Werbiwka is located on the bank of the Balaklijka (Ukrainian Балаклійка ), a 10 km long tributary to the Siversky Donets and borders in the southeast on the Rajonzentrum Balaklija . The Kharkiv Oblast Center is about 100 km northwest of the village. Werbivka has a train station on the Smiyiv - Lyman railway line .
