Werner Carobbio

Werner Carobbio (born November 10, 1936 in Mendrisio , resident in Mendrisio) is a Swiss politician ( PSA , SP ).

Career

Carobbio joined the SP as a young man. However, this excluded him in 1969 for "behavior that was harmful to the party". In response, he founded together with Pietro Martinelli the Partito Socialista Autonomo (PSA), which stood up for transparency and rational action and the clientelism in the canton of Ticino to the pillory presented. In the parliamentary elections in 1975 Carrobbio was elected to the National Council, where with the MPs of the PdA and the POCH formed a left wing parliamentary group. In 1992 the PSA successor party PSU joined the SP Tessin. Afterwards Carobbio sat for the SP in the National Council. At the 1999 parliamentary elections he has not raced for more and different 5 December 1999 of the Grand Chamber.

The management consultant is married and has three children. His daughter Marina Carobbio Guscetti also became a member of the National Council. He lives in Lumino .
