Werner Haase (politician)
Werner Haase (born October 17, 1922 in Berlin ; † April 1, 2002 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Haase attended elementary school and did an apprenticeship as a butcher , later he worked for the Berlin garbage disposal as a garbage carrier.
After the Second World War , Haase became chairman of the main staff council of the Berlin Senate . In the Berlin election in 1950 he was elected to the district assembly in the Schöneberg district. In February 1955 Konrad Dickhardt resigned from the Berlin House of Representatives as a district councilor , so Haase moved up to parliament. In the following election in 1958 he was re-elected to parliament. In May 1964 he resigned as he was now elected to the district councilor in Schöneberg. He held this office until 1971.
