Konrad Dickhardt

Konrad Dickhardt (born December 16, 1899 in Bad Vilbel , † June 11, 1961 in Berlin ) was a German local politician.

Life

From 1923 Konrad Dickhardt worked in administration and the Sparkasse in Bad Vilbel, and from 1928 as a union secretary in Hesse . During the time of National Socialism he was an independent tax advisor and auditor. After the Second World War he rebuilt the Berlin SPD in the Schöneberg district and was its district chairman until 1960. Since 1946 he was district councilor of Schöneberg and worked as a department head in the financial administration. From 1947 to 1959 he worked in Schöneberg as a district councilor for finances, from 1955 to 1957 also as deputy mayor. From December 1958 until his death he was the district mayor of Schöneberg.

Honorary grave of Konrad Dickhardt

Konrad Dickhardt received an honorary grave from the city of Berlin in the Schöneberg II cemetery in Eythstrasse . In Berlin-Friedenau , Dickhardtstrasse commemorates the politician, which was called Ringstrasse between 1872 and 1962 . Originally it was planned to name the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Platz on the main street after Konrad Dickhardt.
