Hans Kettner

Hans Kettner (born December 16, 1919 in Bischofswerda ; † October 12, 2011 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and district mayor of Schöneberg .

Hans Kettner became district secretary of the SPD in Schöneberg in 1955 and was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives from 1958 to 1963 during the third electoral term . From 1963 to 1969, as a district councilor, he was responsible for local sports and youth policy in Schöneberg. During this time, the construction of the sports and teaching swimming pool on Sachsendamm as well as some day-care centers took place. From 1969 to 1971 he was the district mayor of Schöneberg.

Hans Kettner has been the recipient of the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon since 1977 , and has been recognized for his many years of voluntary work on the main board of the trade union trade, banks and insurance companies .
