Wilhelm Kabus

Wilhelm Kabus (born October 11, 1918 in Rybnik , Silesia ; † April 12, 1996 in Berlin ) was a Berlin district mayor and engineer .

Kabus began his political career as a CDU - party leader in Tempelhof and later in Schoeneberg , where he also worked as a for Construction since 1965th From 1975 to 1983 he worked as district mayor in Schöneberg, as well as in several voluntary activities. After leaving local politics, he partly continued this commitment. In 1992, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for his services in building apartments for low-income people and setting up social stations and workshops for the disabled .
