Werner Kimmig

Werner Kimmig (born August 23, 1948 ) is a German television producer and former music manager .

Life

Werner Kimmig grew up in Oberkirch . After training as a publishing clerk at Hubert Burda Verlag in Offenburg and studying in Munich , he became advertising manager for Bunter and Freizeit Revue in 1970 .

In 1973, he set out with the founding of the original artist agency Werner Kimmig GmbH (now Kimmig Entertainment GmbH ) independently . He was the first artist to oversee the pop singers Paola Felix and Costa Cordalis . In 1981 his company began producing feature films with hidden cameras for the entertainment show Do You Understand Fun? . Television production has been the company's focus since 1989. Besides Do You Understand Fun? will u. a. the award of the Echo and the Bambi as well as every Sunday and The Helene Fischer Show . Since 1990 he has been producing the gala for the Bambi Awards.

In 2011, Kimmig left the management of Kimmig Entertainment GmbH; However, he is still managing director of its sole shareholder , "Werner Kimmig GmbH & Co. KG".

In 2003, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon for his commitment as a member of the board of the Association for Children with Cancer Freiburg eV . He lives in Oberkirch.

Trivia

At the celebration of Werner Kimmig's 70th birthday in Europa-Park in Rust, Thomas Gottschalk met his girlfriend Karina Mroß.
