Werner Richter (General)
Werner Richter (born October 21, 1893 in Zittau , † June 3, 1944 in Riga ) was a German officer , most recently Lieutenant General in World War II .
Life
Richter served as an officer in the First World War . In the Wehrmacht, Richter was in command of the 87th Infantry Division and the 263rd Infantry Division during World War II . At the beginning of the war he was Chief of the General Staff of the 7th Army .
