It is located on the south bank of the Werre that gives it its name , about two kilometers east of the city center in the direction of the Weser . The reason for the construction at this point was the availability of a former industrial site in a convenient location directly on the B 61 . The mall opened on April 1, 1998.

history

Werre Park was built on the site of the Weserhütte , which went bankrupt in 1987 , and opened on April 1, 1998.

When it opened, a Globus SB department store, as the anchor tenant, initially had the largest retail space. This was later shared several times. In addition, the Globus Group also had an Alphatecc technology market.
