Westphalian gallery of honor

The Westphalian Honor Gallery was brought into being in 2002 by the Westphalia Initiative Foundation. Every two years, the foundation's board of directors includes a historical and a living personality in the gallery of honor who have made a special contribution to Westphalia in a certain discipline . So far, the areas of church and religion, economy and administration, art and literature, medicine and finance have been taken into account. The admission will be celebrated in a ceremony. The aim of the Westphalian Gallery of Honor is to strengthen the Westphalian identity . It makes important Westphalian personalities and their services known regionally and nationally.
