An idealistic scientist and her husband are desperate to secure funding for their medtech startup . They then sign a deal with a mysterious investor, Anne Montgomery ( Renée Zellweger ). Anne recognizes Lisa's potential ( Jane Levy ) and makes her an unexpected offer. This offer includes not only money, but also one condition: Anne would like to spend a night alone with Lisa's husband Sean ( Blake Jenner ). A confidentiality clause in this contract forbids Sean to talk to Anne over the night. Should he ignore it, the company would become Anne's property.
