At the end of 2012 she signed a contract for the 2013 season with Liverpool LFC and won the championship in the FA WSL with this. She then moved, as she had done two years before, to Tyresö FF for the winter half-year, with whom she moved into the final of the Champions League .

In the early summer of 2014, Engen joined the NWSL newcomer Houston Dash and made his debut there on June 8 in an away win against Sky Blue FC . For the 2015 season, she and her teammate Becky Edwards moved to the NWSL franchise of Western New York Flash .
