Wienau is a village and a locality in the market town of Weitersfelden in Upper Austria with 59 inhabitants (as of 2011).

The loosely built street village lies at 872  m above sea level. A. around 3.5 km north of Weitersfelden. The place was first mentioned in a document in 1481.

Hoisnhof Chapel
  • No. 2, Hoisn-Hof as a three-sided courtyard from the 4th quarter of the 19th century with a court chapel from 1890, both in the stone castle style and listed.
  • No. 13, Streckhof from the 18th and 19th centuries with a curved gable
  • No. 15, Dreiseithof, portal with wedge stone with 1891 and a house chapel under a gable roof around 1900

The earliest written document is from 1481 and is "Wunau". The name goes back to Middle High German wünne (willow).
