The Wierzyca ( Kashubian : Wierzësa , German heel , earlier verse ) is a left tributary of the Vistula (Wisła) in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship .
The Wierzyca comes from a lake east of Kościerzyna ( Berent ). It is made of two arms, one of which is in Okoniner forest district and the other in the bar Walder forest district arises. It flows in a southeasterly direction towards Stara Kiszewa ( Old Kischau ), happened shortly after the German Order Castle Kischau , the village turns northeast Chwôrzno ( Schwarzin ) east to the village Pogódki ( Pogutken ), takes little later, the benefits accruing from the north Wietcisa ( Fietze ), then flows in a north-easterly direction to the village of Górne Maliki ( Obermahlkau ), then continues its course in a south-easterly direction via Starogard Gdański ( Prussian Stargard ) and flows into the Vistula at Gniew ( Mewe ).
The river, which lies in Kashubia , has a length of 112 kilometers.
The largest tributary is the Wietcisa ( Fietze ), a left tributary that flows into the Wierzyca south of Skarszewy ( Schöneck ).
