geography

course

The Wiesbüttgraben rises from the Wiesbüttsee

The Wiesbüttgraben rises at an altitude of 436  m above sea level. NHN the Wiesbüttsee , a high moor in the Spessart.

The creek initially flows naturally to the northwest without a fixed creek bed. From a parking lot on the Spessart-Höhenstraße , between the foothills of the Greifenberg and the Erkelshöhe , the Wiesbüttgraben is heavily straightened. It bends southwest and runs along a path to Wiesen .

There it finally flows out at an altitude of 396  m above sea level. NHN from the left into the Aubach .

The approximately 2.4 km long course of the Wiesbüttgraben ends about 40 meters below its source, so it has a mean bed gradient of around 17 ‰.
