The Greifenberg is 483 m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the Spessart in the Bavarian district of Aschaffenburg and in the Hessian Main-Kinzig district in Germany .

The Greifenberg lies between the places Wiesen and Bieber . The state border runs over the summit, between the municipality of Biebergemünd (Hesse) and the municipality-free area of Wiesener Forst (Bavaria). In the east, the Greifenberg goes flat to the Hühnerberg (482 m). West of the summit is the Dr. Karl-Kihn- Platz. Two historical trade routes meet there, Eselsweg and Birkenhainer Straße . Both also lead over the Greifenberg summit. Furthermore, Dr. Kihn-Platz the Degen-Weg . To the southwest of it begins a streamless valley that leads to the Kahlquellen . The valley of the Schwarzbach runs north of the mountain ; the Wiesbüttgraben flows in the southeast .
