Viktor Alexejewitsch Zubkov ( Russian Виктор Алексеевич Зубков ; born September 15, 1941 in Arbat, Kuschwa Rajon in Sverdlovsk Oblast ) is a Russian politician. From September 2007 to May 2008 he was Russian Prime Minister . During the presidency of Dmitry Medvedev , he was First Deputy Prime Minister from 2008.

Career

Subkow began his professional career in 1958 as a locksmith in the Severonikel mining combine in the northern Russian city of Montschegorsk . In 1960 he began studying at the Economic Faculty of the Agricultural Institute in Pushkin , which he graduated in 1965. After completing his studies, he did his military service until 1967.

From 1967 to 1982 he worked as an officer in various state farms in the Leningrad Oblast : In 1967 he took up a position as head of the state farm Krasnaya Slavyanka to.
