The Wildenkees is a glacier in the Gschlößkamm in the Lienz district (East Tyrol). It is located southeast of the Wildenkogel .

The Wildenkees is a Kargletscher that lies east of the Wildenkogelscharte ( 2858  m above sea level ) between the Wildenkogel ( 3021  m above sea level ) in the north and the Schnitzkogel in the south. At the beginning of the 1870s, the Wildenkees still filled the entire glacier cirque above around 2600 meters altitude, while the Wildensee ( 2515  m above sea level ) created by the Wildenkees was ice-free. In the course of the glacier retreat since the middle of the 19th century, only remnants are left of the Wildenkees, whereby another glacial lake has formed in the course of the retreat of the glacier at an altitude of around 2700 meters.
