Wilhelm Brübach

Wilhelm Brübach (born July 22, 1909 in Hopfelde ; † July 3, 2003 ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After completing elementary school and completing a commercial apprenticeship, Wilhelm Brübach worked as a timber merchant. In the Third Reich he was temporarily under police supervision. From 1942 to 1945 he did military service .

politics

Brübach had been a member of the SPD since 1927. In 1931 he was district chairman of the socialist youth workers in Kassel .

He was elected as district administrator of the district of Witzenhausen in 1946 and held this office until the regional reform in Hesse in 1973, when the district of Witzenhausen was merged with the then district of Eschwege to form the new Werra-Meißner district .

From December 1, 1946 to November 30, 1970 Brübach was a member of the Hessian state parliament.
