Wilhelm Görck

Wilhelm Görck (born August 9, 1862 in Lüneburg , † December 26, 1938 in Heide ) was a German lawyer and politician ( NLP , DVP ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school, Görck began studying law at the universities of Tübingen , Leipzig and Berlin , which he completed in 1885 with the first state examination in law and a doctorate in Dr. jur. finished. He then joined the Prussian judicial service as a trainee lawyer and worked as a judge at the Heide District Court from 1895 , most recently as a District Court Counselor.

Political party

Görck was a member of the National Liberal Party until 1918 and joined the DVP after the November Revolution .

MP

Görck was a member of the German Reichstag from 1907 to 1912 . From 1904 to 1918 he was also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives , where he represented the constituency of Schleswig-Holstein 12 (Norderdithmarschen) as a member. He was a member of the Prussian State Constitutional Assembly from 1919 to 1921 and was then elected to the Prussian State Parliament, of which he was a member until 1924.
