Wilhelm Langenfass
Wilhelm Langenfaß , later ennobled as Wilhelm Ritter von Langenfaß , (born September 1, 1819 in Uffenheim ; † October 20, 1898 in Munich ; full name: Carl Wilhelm Friedrich Langenfaß ) was a German architect and royal Bavarian construction officer . He was responsible for numerous buildings in what is now the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district .
Life
Langenfaß was the son of the royal Bavarian second regional court assessor Andreas Wilhelm Heinrich Langenfaß and his wife Maria Sofia Charlotte Langenfaß nee. White from Ansbach . From 1827 he attended school in Ansbach, from 1837 he studied in Munich . From 1858 to 1872 he worked as a construction clerk in Weißenburg in Bavaria , later he was transferred to Würzburg and Munich until he retired in 1891. In 1880 he was awarded the Order of Merit by St. Michael . He died in 1898 at the age of 79.
