Wilhelm Schow
Wilhelm Carl Ernst Schow (born October 15, 1896 in Neustadt in Holstein ; † January 16, 1946 in Schleswig ) was a German civil servant and governor of the Prussian province of Schleswig-Holstein from 1938 to 1945 .
Schow studied law, worked as a councilor in the government in Schleswig from 1929 and was promoted to the senior government council there. In 1933 he joined the NSDAP . On September 1, 1938, he succeeded Otto Röer as governor of Schleswig-Holstein and remained in office until 1945. In this function he was the permanent representative of the Chief President Hinrich Lohse . He committed suicide in January 1946.
