Wilhelm Traub

Wilhelm Traub (born December 17, 1914 in Vorderbüchelberg ; † September 3, 1998 in Emmendingen ) was a German politician (SPD).

education and profession

From 1955 until his retirement, Traub was director of the state insurance institute of Baden-Württemberg .

MP

Traub was a member of the SPD . From 1951 to 1973 he was a member of the district assembly in the then Backnang district and then of the district assembly in the new Rems-Murr district , for the longest time as parliamentary group chairman.

From 1950 to 1952 he was a member of the state parliament of Württemberg-Baden .

He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to September 8, 1955. He was drawn into the Bundestag via the state list of Baden-Württemberg .

Honors

According to Wilhelm Traub, the “Wilhelm-Traub-Haus” is the Lebenshilfe for the mentally handicapped e. V. named in Backnang .
