William of Beaulieu-Marconnay

Wilhelm Freiherr von Beaulieu-Marconnay (born September 10, 1848 in Oldenburg ; † September 6, 1884 there ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Wilhelm von Beaulieu-Marconnay , actually Wilhelm Heinrich Louis Ferdinand Freiherr von Beaulieu-Marconnay, was the only son of Eugen Carl Theodor Levin Freiherr von Beaulieu-Marconnay (Grh + oldenb. Chamberlain and President of the Higher Regional Court ) and his wife Isidore Luise von Schletter. He attended the grammar school in Oldenburg until 1867 and studied law at the universities in Jena and Berlin. In Jena he became a member of the Germania fraternity in 1867 . He was a one-year volunteer in the 94th Infantry Regiment in Jena and took part in the 1870/71 war in the Oldenburg Infantry Regiment No. 91 , in which he was first lieutenant . From 1873 to 1878 he was a trainee lawyer in Osnabrück , Isernhagen and Hanover . From 1878 he was magistrate in the north .

From December 1879 until his death he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Hanover 1 ( Emden ) and the National Liberal Party . He was elected in a by-election for Jan ten Doornkaat Koolman . Incidentally, he was also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives from 1882 to 1884 .
