Wilko Müller junior

Wilko Müller jr. (* 1962 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German science fiction - and fantasy - author and publisher of Edition SOLAR-X. The astronomy and physics teacher also works as a translator (English / German). For a few years he worked for the publishing house Projekt-Verlag in Halle (Saale), then a lecturer in Berlin. Today he works as a teacher in Baruth.

Wilko Müller jr. was active as a science fiction fan for a long time . At the beginning of 1989 he founded the Andromeda SF Club in Halle-Neustadt and brought the Fanzine SOLAR-X to life. By 2006, together with other club members and many non-club authors, he had published 180 of the monthly issues for a long time. Today he publishes Fantastik and other literature in his publishing house Edition SOLAR-X, including works by Alexander Kröger .

biography

Born and raised in Anhalt Hall, inserted it will also be High School from. After three years of service in the National People's Army of the GDR one followed teacher training in astronomy and physics at the University of Jena . For a short time afterwards he worked as a teacher and head of the small amateur observatory in Halle-Neustadt . The social upheaval in the GDR brought life upheavals for him too. In the following years he worked as a lecturer for adult education , as a translator or as a self-employed person in direct sales and retrained as a marketing officer . Later he worked for eight years at the Halle project publishing house in sales and as an editor and at the same time again as a translator. Self-employed with his own publishing house SOLAR-X since 2014, he also works as a teacher and lecturer in the Berlin-Brandenburg area. Wilko Müller is married and lives in Zossen .
