Wilhelm "Willi" Egger (born October 7, 1932 in Murau ; † April 29, 2008 in Murau) was an Austrian ski jumper and Nordic combined athlete .
Egger was active as a Nordic combined athlete until 1956 and started in the individual competition at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo . In the end, he finished 16th.
After the games, Egger switched to the special jumpers. From December 1956 he started at the Four Hills Tournament . At the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley , he finished jumping on the normal hill tied with Canadian Gerry Gravelle in 34th place.
At the World Ski Championships in Zakopane in 1962 , he finished 10th on the normal hill on February 21 and 7th on the large hill on February 27.
He completed his most successful Four Hills Tournament in 1961/62 . He won in Innsbruck and Bischofshofen and ended up in 2nd place in the tour's overall ranking. Previously, he had already won the New Year's competition on January 1, 1958 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . On March 18, 1962, he was second on Holmenkollen.
At the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1964 he competed again for Austria and jumped to 44th place on the normal hill. On the large hill, he jumped to 12th place.
