Willi Tannheimer (* 1940 in Hinterstein ) is a German sculptor.

biography

Tannheimer was born in Hinterstein in 1940 . He completed his first training as a wood sculptor with his father Wilhelm Tannheimer . From 1966 to 1968 he attended the arts and crafts school in Munich and finished it with the master's examination as a sculptor . Several study visits to international summer academies followed. Tannheimer has been working as a freelance sculptor in Hinterstein / Bruck since 1968.

Tannheimer's preferred tools are bronze , wood and stone. He carries out both public and private commissioned work. Its subjects are

Works

His works in churches can be seen in Venezuela , Burgberg , Wattenscheid , Bruck and Karben. Public works by Tannheimer exist in Hanover , Bad Hindelang , Kempten (Allgäu) , Aachen , Nesselwang , Oberstdorf , Immenstadt and Ulm .

Other professional activities

Tannheimer has participated in exhibitions at the Haus der Kunst in Munich since 1970 and also in selected solo and group exhibitions in the Allgäu (including regular participation in the exhibition Die Südliche 2003–2009).
