William Nigh

William Nigh , also Will Nigh and William Nye (born October 12, 1881 in Berlin , Green Lake County , Wisconsin , † November 27, 1955 in Burbank , California ) was an American film director and actor .

Life

The spelling of William Nigh's name was in his first films Will Nigh or William Nye . In 1913, Nigh made his successful debut as an actor in the film A warm welcome . This was followed by well over 100 films by 1948, on which he worked as an actor and director - but sometimes also as a screenwriter , producer or film editor  .

William Nigh died six weeks after his 74th birthday in Burbank ( LA ) and was buried there.
