Willingshof

Willingshof is a courtyard instead of a deserted village in today's district Breunings the community Sinntal in Main-Kinzig-Kreis in Hesse .

history

In 1379 the place was owned by the von Steckelberg family . However, that was bailiff of the place one active fief of domination Hanau , later the county of Hanau and following the Hanau-Münzenberg , the fief taker of Hutten occupied. Willings belonged to the Holy Roman Empire to court Altengronau . After it had fallen wildly, which happened before 1444, the bailiwick fell back to Hanau as a settled fiefdom.

In 1714 a major von Adlerstein built a courtyard on the site of the desert, the Willingshof . From 1748–1790 it was owned by Friedrich zum Dietert . In 1895 the farm had 8 residents.

After the death of the last Hanau count, Johann Reinhard III. in 1736 the Landgraves of Hessen-Kassel inherited the entire county of Hanau-Munzenberg. The Willingshof belonged to the Electorate of Hesse , which assigned it to the Schwarzenfels office , to the district of Schlüchtern after the Hessian administrative reform of 1821 and to the municipality of Sinntal and the Main-Kinzig district since the Hessian regional reform in the 1970s.
