Wilma Pradetto

Wilma Pradetto (born December 21, 1951 in Graz ) is an Austrian documentary filmmaker.

Life

Wilma Pradetto studied from 1981 to 1986 at the German Film and Television Academy (dffb) in Berlin. Afterwards she worked as an intern and as an assistant director in feature films a. a. by Michael Ballhaus , Martin Scorsese and István Szabó . Since 1992 she has been making documentaries, documentaries and reports as a director and author, which are primarily broadcast on television. The documentary Profession Teacher , for which she directed and wrote the screenplay with Thomas Schadt , was nominated for the Grimme Prize in 2007.
