Winni Biermann (born November 26, 1967 in Bocholt ) is a German singer ( tenor ) who was discovered through a television report .

Life

Winni Biermann was born the youngest of nine children. The father was an electrician and the mother was a housewife . He received training as a reinforced concrete worker and bricklayer . He has been working as a professional driver since 1998 . Since 2006 as tenor in the Meisterchor Quartettverein Bocholt eV, 2011 appearance in the Essen Philharmonic as a soloist . Discovered by chance at the Bocholt Wine Festival in 2014, a local journalist shot a video for YouTube , followed by articles on Sat1 , WDR , RTL , Bildzeitung , ZDF and various newspapers, so the singing trucker was born.
