Witalij Witalijowitsch Lyalka ( Ukrainian Віталій Віталійович Лялька ; born July 8, 1996 in Brovary ) is a Ukrainian ice hockey player who has played for Kristall Berdsk in the Russian junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League since 2014 .

Career

Vitaly Lyalka began his career as an ice hockey player with HK Bilyj Bars Brovary from his native city, for whom he made his debut in the then Professional Hockey League , the highest Ukrainian league , at the age of 16 . In 2013 he moved to the Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga , where he first played for the Ukrainian club Molodaja Gwardija Donetsk. After playing in Donetsk was no longer possible due to the war in Ukraine , he moved to league rivals Kristall Berdsk near Novosibirsk in 2014 , where he has been playing since then.

International

Ljalka played in the junior division at the U18 World Championships in Division I in 2013 and 2014 , when he led his team onto the ice as team captain, as well as in the U20 World Championships in Division I in 2014 and 2015 for his home country.

Ljalka played for the men's national team of Ukraine for the first time in the 2015 World Cup when he and his team had to accept relegation from the A to the B group of Division I.
