Wladimir Belli (born July 25, 1970 in Sorengo ) is a former Italian cyclist .

In 1990, Wladimir Belli won the U23 edition of the Giro d'Italia , the Baby Giro . He began his professional career in 1992 with the Italian cycling team Lampre . He drove there for five years and was able to regularly achieve good placements at the Giro d'Italia. His next stop was Ceramiche Panaria . In one year he won the Giro del Trentino and the Giro dell'Appennino and took part in the Tour de France for the first time . He drove the 1997 Giro d'Italia for Brescialat and finished it in sixth place, his best result. The following year he moved to the French team Festina . In the Tour de France, he did very well; he finished ninth overall. In 2000 he moved the team Fassa Bortolo by Giancarlo Ferretti and finished the Giro in seventh place. In the same year he also won a stage of the Tour de Suisse and the Gran Premio Città di Camaiore .

Belli caused a tangible scandal in 2001: During the Giros he knocked down a fan who was mobbing him with a punch and was then excluded from the race - in third place. It later turned out that the "fan" was a nephew of his competitor Gilberto Simoni . He finished seventh in the Giro again in 2004 , in his second year with Lampre . In the 2005 season Belli drove for the ProTeam Domina Vacanze and from 2006 he was under contract with the Colombian Professional Continental Team Selle Italia-Diquigiovanni . Belli ended his career at the end of the 2007 season.
