Vladimir Grigoryevich Kotin
Wladimir Grigoryevich Kotin ( Russian Владимир Григорьевич Котин ; born March 28, 1962 in Moscow ) is a former Soviet figure skater who started in a single run .
In 1978 he was vice-junior world champion and from 1985 to 1988 vice-European champion four times in a row , first twice behind Jozef Sabovčík and then twice behind compatriot Alexander Fadejew . His best result at world championships was a fourth place in 1986 and 1987 . Kotin took part in two Olympic Games . He finished eighth in Sarajevo in 1984 and sixth in Calgary in 1988 . Kotin was trained by Igor Moskvin .
Today he works with his former trainer Jelena Tchaikovskaya as a trainer in Moscow.
