Vladimir Sergejewitsch Bystrow ( Russian Владимир Сергеевич Быстров ; born January 31, 1984 in Luga ) is a Russian football player in the service of FK Tosno .

Bystrow signed his first professional contract with Zenit Saint Petersburg in 2001 , where he played until 2005. During this time he completed 74 league games and scored six goals. In 2005 he then moved to Spartak Moscow . Bystrow is an arrow-fast winger, especially because of his speed he is the most fouled player in the Russian league . On August 29, 2009, his return to Zenit was announced for 15 million euros. Bystrow signed a contract with Zenit until 2014.

National team

From 2004 to 2013, Bystrow played for the Russian national soccer team . In 2008 he was appointed to the Russian team by Guus Hiddink for the 2008 European Championship . In the preliminary round match against Spain he was substituted on for Dmitri Sychev at halftime , and curiously, in the 70th minute, he was substituted for Roman Adamow . Guus Hiddink said he wasn't happy with Bystrow's performance.
