Wolf Frankenburger

Wolf Frankenburger (born March 27, 1827 in Obbach , † July 18, 1889 in Nuremberg ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Frankenburger studied law in Würzburg , where he became a member of the Germania Würzburg fraternity in 1846 , and was appointed lawyer in Nuremberg in 1861. There he was from 1870 he was parish officer, council member and administrative member of the Jewish religious community. From 1869 to 1889 he was a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies . From 1874 to 1878 he represented the constituency of Middle Franconia 1 (Nuremberg) for the Progress Party in the German Reichstag . In the 1877 election, he was only able to prevail in a runoff election with 12,684 to 12,090 votes against the social democratic candidate.
