Wolf Klaussner

Wolf Klaußner (born October 3, 1930 in Lichtenau (Middle Franconia) ; died April 3, 2005 ) was a German writer.

Life

Klaußner's father was a school principal in Lichtenau, where Klaußner also grew up. He attended the humanistic high school in Ansbach and Nuremberg , studied English in Erlangen and Munich and worked as a teacher and translator . At the age of 18 he began to write prose. His topic was, among other things, the emergence of fascism in the country.

He received the European Youth Book Prize and in 1997 the “Meistersingerbrief” from the work group “Literatur der Arbeitswelt” . Since May 1st 2001 he was a member of the Pegnese Flower Order .
